Free Assessments

Children less than 16 with access to a Community Services Card can have a full eye test with a Specialist at no charge.

All children aged 6 months to 3 years can have a free screening eye test.

Our team is led by a Paediatric Ophthalmologist, and made up of friendly staff with decades of experience between them looking after children who have eye problems.

We also specialise in the treatment of squints, cataract, neurological eye problems, and glaucoma.

    What eye problems do we fix?

    LAZY EYES, SQUINTS, VISION FOR SCHOOL CATARACT, GLAUCOMA, & COMPLEX EYE PROBLEMS.

    Children can have a whole range of eye problems, with the added challenge of finding ways to examine them accurately and make good diagnoses. This is what we do every day, we have also invested in the best equipment to help us get it right.

    Dr Bedggood is also a highly skilled cataract and squint surgeon, with excellent outcomes and an extremely low complication rate.
